One of the first kittens was Mimi: a beautiful dark gray Angora cat, who would lay on top of my mom's belly when she was pregnant with me. Some say I have a cat's soul, and this first encounter made me develop a great and deep empathy towards these animals, creating a bond that, upon first meeting with a cat, we understand each other and communicate almost telepathically.
