Hello,
My name is Tijmen, I am 25 years old and have had a passion for animals all my life. I have completed a three year education called animal caretaker wildlife in the Netherlands. I have also done 4 extra courses during this education that made me a certified animal caretaker for reptiles & amphibians, fish, birds and mammals. During my education in the netherlands I also worked part time as an animal caretaker at Apenheul, a zoo that specialises in monkeys. Also i've done multiple internships at a reptile resque (Reptielenopvang Zwanenburg) and Mecske Zoo in Hungary. Before doing this education I spent a year in Australia, where I worked as a full-time veterinary assistant for 6 months.
Other than working jobs involving animals I've also grown up with animals around me. Including chickens, incubating guinea fowl eggs and raising them to adulthood. but also dogs, reptiles, fish and birds. I recently moved to germany to live together with my partner.
